Hilda Mary Christian

Hilda Mary Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 16 October 1911 the daughter of James Harvey Christian and Gladys Mary Meehan. She was married first to Sydney J. Regan and second to William A. Doherty. She died at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 20 January 1997.

Earle and Sumner Christian

Earle Norbert Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 9 March 1900 and Sumner Augustine Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 1 August 1903 both the children of Charles Sumner Christian and Elizabeth Regina Noonan. Earle died at Prospect, Nova Scotia 18 April 1920 and Sumner died at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 1 January 1953.

Nicholas P. Christian

Nicholas P. Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 22 August 1841 the son of William Christian and Nancy Anne Brennan. He married Margaret Ross McGuire d/o Daniel McGuire and Ann Perrin in 1864. They had seven children. Known as Nikki P. he died at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 26 March 1920.

Mrs. Benning

Mrs. Benning was the mother of Clement Benning who was the husband of Susan McGuire. Clement Benning died very young but his one child from his marriage with Susan McGuire - Mary Ann Benning married Charles W. Christian.

Mary Eleanor (Duggan) Christian and children Annina, 

Mary Eleanor Duggan was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 2 November 1869 the daughter of Thomas Duggan and Mary Eleanor McGuire. She married at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 28 April 1891 to Patrick Edward Christian s/o Edward Christian and Frances White. They had three children that lived to maturity: Herbert John, known as Bert, b. 1891, Mary Annina, b. 1895 and Milton Patrick, b. 1898. The three younger children pictured here appear to have died young, the boy in the picture is likely John Howard Christian, b. ca. 1903 and died at Prospect 21 November 1914.

Joe Kelly and Plute

Michael Joseph Christian, known as Joe Kelly, was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 14 May 1893 the son of Patrick J. Christian and Margaret Hardiman. Douglas Christian, known as Plute, was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 30 May 1875 the son of John Parker Christian and Mary Jane Coolen. This picture was likely taken in the late 1920s.

William H. Christian

William H. Christian was born at White's Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada 20 November 1863 the son of Charles H. Christian and Susan Zwicker. William never married and is said to have suffered from extreme asthma. William died at White's Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada 1 September 1929.

Edna Benning (Christian) Choquette

Edna Benning Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 15 January 1897 the daughter of Charles W. Christian and Mary Ann Benning. Edna was a nurse and moved to Massachusetts where she married a gentleman with the last name Choquette. Edna died at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 8 April 1978.

May (Perrier) Christian with Bernard and Marguerite Duggan

May Perrier was born at D'Eccosse, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada ca. 1887 the daughter of Jeffrey Perrier and Margaret Whalen. She married James Oswald Christian, s/o Charles W. Christian and Mary Ann Benning. She died at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 12 October 1989 at the age of 102. They had two children.

Bernard and Marguerite Duggan were the children of St. Clair Bernard Duggan and Helen McDonald.
